Our Vision
The Bethany House of Prayer is a home for the movement of Friends of the Bridegroom.
We serve the local Church in Milwaukee by creating a place to encounter the witness of the consecrated Bride and offer our home as a space of rest and renewal for consecrated women.
Rest and Renewal
The Bethany House is first of all a place of prayer. The residents live in a rhythm of prayer that creates a space of peace. We offer hospitality in our home to religious women seeking a time of rest and renewal.
Encounter
The Bethany House provides space for the local Church to be renewed in their love for the Bride through hosting events with visiting religious. These encounters are a force of renewal for the whole Archdiocese.

In a world saturated with voices telling women how to live, the teachings of the Church shine as a beacon of clarity and hope. We all want to live a beautiful life, but most of us don’t know where to begin. The gift of the Church’s teaching on the virtues lays out a captivating guide to living a life on earth that sings of Heaven.
Throughout our events this year, women religious will be sharing from their hearts and experiences about the ways virtue forms their way of life. Together, we will invite the Holy Spirit to teach us to live a beautiful life.
