Fr. John Burns
Fr. John is a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and founder of Friends of the Bridegroom. Ordained in 2010, he has served as an associate pastor, pastor, and adjunct professor of moral theology. In 2019, he completed a doctorate in moral theology, with research focused on the theology of healing through forgiveness. Fr. Burns now works full-time in healing and renewal ministry with communities of women religious and with priests.

Sr. Miriam James Heidland, S.O.L.T.
Sr. Miriam joined the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in 1998. She holds a master’s degree in theology from the Augustine Institute and speaks extensively on the topics of conversion, authentic love, forgiveness and healing. She serves as the executive director of Friends of the Bridegroom and is affiliated with the John Paul II Healing Center in leading healing retreats for priests and religious sisters across the nation.

Maggie Ederle
Maggie is a privately consecrated young woman who grew up in St. Louis. After studying Theology at Benedictine College she spent time in parish ministry in Adult Faith Formation and Evangelization, served in a hospital, nursing home, and in the Development Office of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. She moved to Milwaukee in August 2023 to live in the Bethany House of Prayer and now serves full-time with Friends of the Bridegroom.

Emily Davenport
Emily is a privately consecrated young woman serving full-time in the movement. She is from St. Louis but has lived in Milwaukee for 5 years. She has a background in youth and young adult ministry but has served primarily with Friends of the Bridegroom since August 2023.
